Genre – Crime, Action

If your a fan of The Rock, then this is a must-see movie. He returns back to action films and he does so convincingly. This movie is about Driver, who is seeking revenge on the criminals that killed his brother during a bank job. He goes through killing a list of people that were involved in the murder of his brother. On a side story, he is being tracked by the police, as well as a billionaire assassin who seeks challenges. He kills all the people in a very short span. There is a big twist at the end of the movie that most people would not have suspected.
I have to give The Rock an A+ in acting in this movie. He had very little lines but he showed raw emotion. From the dramatic sequences to the action packed scenes, The Rock did an excellent job. This is also a good thing that he decided to get back into the action genre and drift away from the kid friendly and family oriented movies. I feel that he is just built to be an action star. Billy Bob Thornton also does a good job in playing his character. He looked exactly like a drug addict and he plays a very convincing cop. I have never heard of Oliver Jackson-Cohen until now. The way you can tell he did a good job was because I hated him in that movie. I feel that if you are the bad guy and the audience absolutely hates you then you did exactly what you were supposed to. I can’t wait to see more of this guy in American films.
As far as the movie goes, I thought it was full of great action sequences. If your looking for a good action movie, this is definitely worth seeing. Driver is such a bad ass and he just goes in there and gets the job done, Fast. Hence the title of the movie “Faster”. There is a huge twist in the end that I had never expected. I never thought once that Billy Bob Thornton was the head of the killing of his brother. Overall I have to say that this a must-see movie for Action buffs and hardcore Dwayne Johnson fans.
