The Descendants

The Descendants is an upcoming comedy drama movie directed by Alexander Payne and based on the novel of the same name by Kaui Hart Hemmings. The story revolves around a land baron who tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident. Arthur is a 2011 comedy film written by Peter Baynham and directed by Jason Winer. It is a remake of the 1981 film written and directed by Steve Gordon. It stars Russell Brand in the title role, with Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner, Greta Gerwig and Nick Nolte in supporting roles.

PLOT :
Boozy playboy Arthur Bach (Russell Brand) and his chauffeur, Bitterman (Luis Guzman), dress up in Batman and Robin suits for a formal dinner hosted by Arthur's mother, Vivienne (Geraldine James). The dinner is intended to announce Arthur as the new chairman of her corporation, Bach Worldwide. Upon driving to the dinner in a Batmobile, intoxicated and being chased by police, Arthur is arrested and released the next day.

Vivienne and her shrewd assistant Susan (Jennifer Garner) arrange a plan to have Susan marry Arthur to allow her to be in control of the company, leaving stable leadership. Arthur refuses, but is told that he will be completely cut off from the $950 million inheritance if he does not marry Susan. Arthur reluctantly agrees and asks Susan's father, Burt Johnson (Nick Nolte), for permission to marry his daughter. Burt agrees after putting Arthur to a table saw and warning him not to embarrass Susan. The next day, Arthur meets Naomi (Greta Gerwig), an illegal tour guide who Arthur takes an interest in to due to her free-spirited nature. He arranges his wedding while sneaking around on dates with Naomi. Arthur's nanny, Lillian Hobson (Helen Mirren) – who normally dislikes all of Arthur's choices in women – gets to know and like Naomi. Arthur learns that Naomi would like to have her children's book about the Statue of Liberty published. Arthur attempts to find employment and other options so that he would be able to keep seeing Naomi and not need the $950 million, but to no avail. Hobson takes Arthur to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, where he complains about it being depressing and making him want to drink, then the proclaims he is going to drink while accidentally bragging about his money, and turns to leave the meeting. Hobson stands up and takes the bullet for Arthur, giving his humiliating introduction in his place. Arthur, touched, states if only she would drink in his place as well, he would be set.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is an upcoming thriller movie directed by Tomas Alfredson, and based on the 1974 British spy novel by John le Carre. Set in the aftermath of the cold war, the thriller tells the tale of a spy-hunt within the highest echelons of the British Secret Intelligence Service.

Happy Feet 2 in 3D

Happy Feet 2 (also known as Happy Feet 2 in 3D) is an upcoming feature film directed by George Miller the co-director of the original film, Happy Feet.The film is being produced by Animal Logic Films in Santa Monica, California, United States and Dr. D Studios in Sydney, Australia. The only other official announcement regarding the film is that actors Elijah Wood and Robin Williams are to reprise their previous roles of the characters Mumble, Ramon, and Lovelace. Other actors confirmed to reprise their roles are Carlos Alazraqui, Johnny A. Sanchez, Lombardo Boyar and Jeffrey Garcia as Nestor, Lombardo, Raul, and Rinaldo respectively.

Brittany Murphy, the original voice actress of Mumbles' love interest Gloria, was set to reprise her role and begin recording sometime in 2010 but she died on December 20, 2009. Her character will possibly be recast. Singer Pink contributes a song while Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will be the "tiny krill" voices in the film. Hank Azaria will also appear in the film.Elizabeth Daily, who played young Mumble in the previous film, will play as a new character called Erik and Sofía Vergara will also appear in the movie. Mitchell Hicks has been brought into the film to do the choreography for the film.

J. Edgar

J. Edgar is an upcoming biographical drama film directed by Clint Eastwood,[1] from a script by Dustin Lance Black. The film will focus on the career of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover from the Palmer Raids onwards, including an examination of his private life as an alleged closeted homosexual.[2]

Puss in Boots

Puss in Boots is an upcoming 3D computer-animated adventure film being produced by DreamWorks Animation, directed by Chris Miller (who directed Shrek the Third in 2007), executive produced by Guillermo del Toro, starring Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, and written by Tom Wheeler. It is set to be released in theaters November 4, 2011 in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D.

The film is a spinoff prequel to the Shrek series and it follows the character Puss in Boots on his adventures before his first appearance in Shrek 2 in 2004. My Week With Marilyn

My Week with Marilyn is an upcoming British drama film directed by Simon Curtis and written by Adrian Hodges. It stars Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Redmayne, Dominic Cooper and Emma Watson. Based on two books by Colin Clark, it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl, which starred Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier. The film focuses on the week in which Monroe spent time being escorted around Britain by Clark, after her husband, Arthur Miller, left the country.

Principal photography began on 4 October 2010 at Pinewood Studios. Filming took place at Saltwood Castle, White Waltham Airfield and on locations in and around London. Curtis also used the same studio in which Monroe shot The Prince and the Showgirl in 1956. My Week with Marilyn will have its world premiere at the New York Film Festival in October 2011, before being released in the United States on 4 November 2011 and on 18 November in the United Kingdom.

PLOT :

In the summer of 1956, Colin Clark works as an assistant on the British set of The Prince and the Showgirl, which stars Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe, who is also on honeymoon with her new husband, playwright Arthur Miller. When Miller leaves the country, Clark introduces Monroe to British life and they spend a week together, during which time she escapes from her Hollywood routine and the pressures of work.

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas is an upcoming Christmas comedy film directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg set for release on November 4, 2011. The movie was shot in 3D, and will be released in Real D 3D. This film is a sequel and the third installment in the Harold & Kumar film series (following the 2004 White Castle and the 2008 Guantanamo Bay films). A teaser trailer was released in August.
