The film The Three Musketeers is a 3D steampunk-influenced reinterpretation of the novel by the same title by Alexandre Dumas. The film, shot in 3D,was released in Germany and Austria on September 1, 2011, and is scheduled for U.S. release on October 21, 2011.The film stars Logan Lerman in the leading role of D'Artagnan, with Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans as Athos, Porthos and Aramis aka The Three Musketeers, and Christoph Waltz, Orlando Bloom and Milla Jovovich as the main antagonists Cardinal Richelieu, the Duke of Buckingham and Milady de Winter, respectively.
PLOT :
The hot-headed young D'Artagnan along with three former legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and defeat a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war. In theaters October 21st.
