First and foremost, this is not just a childrens film. It is just as exciting and hilareous for the older crowd. References are made to Depp’s other films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and many will be in awe when Flight of the Valkyries by Wagner ensues and an epic air/ground battle begins.
By far, Rango is one of the best animations to come out as of 2011 and is a no brainer compared to ‘Mars needs Moms.’ It is highly recommended for all audiences, with a family screening a top priority.
